ANDREWS - James (Jimmy), Mullingar and formerly Delvin, Co Westmeath March 16th 2026 (peacefully) at home in the tender care of his adoring wife and family. Predeceased by his daughter Lorraine, parents James and Mary Anne and sister Rose (Holdwright). Loving husband and best friend of Annette, devoted father to David, Louise, Séamus, Adrienne, Raymond, Antoinette (Andrews-Meredith) and Clare, adored grandfather, great-grandfather and dear brother of Molly (McGrath). Sadly missed by his wife and family, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, his wide circle of friends. Reposing at Gilsenans Funeral Home (N91 K660) today Wednesday from 3.30 pm to 6 pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow Thursday at 11 am in the Cathedral of Christ the King followed by burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery Marlinstown. Family flowers only please, donations to North Westmeath Hospice. House strictly private please. The Andrews family would like to sincerely thank all who cared for James with love and dignity during his illness.
