CARBERY (Griffith Avenue, Dublin) The Very Reverend Canon, Brendan - September 7, 2012 peacefully after a long illness at Highfield Healthcare Home, Dublin. Formerly of Athy, Co. Kildare and Artane Parish, Dublin. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by Archbishop Diarmuid Martin and priests of Dublin Diocese, his sister Betty in Paris, devoted housekeeper Teresa, nieces, nephews and many friends. R.I.P. Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Road, Coolock today, with removal to Our Lady of Mercy Church, Artane arriving for 5 o'clock. Funeral on Monday after an 11.15 o'clock Mass followed by burial in St. Fintan's Cemetery, Sutton. No flowers please, donations if desired to The Alzheimer's Association of Ireland.
