KELLY, John P (Seán), (Foxrock and formerly of Templeogue) - 12th January 2023, on the cusp of his 96th birthday. Peacefully, in the loving care of his daughter and the wonderful staff at Foxrock Nursing Home. Deeply regretted by his wife of 68 years, Maura, and his beloved only daughter Fidelma. Pre-deceased by his siblings Joe, Gerald, Dermot and Maura, he is fondly remembered by niece Maria Symes and nephew Martin Kelly. He will be missed by his brother-in-law Brendan Crowe, sisters-in-law Ita, Mary and Carmel and his wife’s many nieces, nephews and extended family. Remembered with affection by golfers at Newlands Golf Club where he served as Captain, President, Secretary and Trustee; by former neighbours in Cypress Grove and new friends among the staff of Foxrock Nursing Home. A light has gone out of all our lives. Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Newtown Park, Blackrock on (Tuesday 17th) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock for 10.00am Funeral Mass, followed by internment at Dean’s Grange Cemetery. May he rest in Peace
