CARPENTER, Brian (Sandymount) - April 1 2022. After a short illness, in the gentle care of the Four Ferns Nursing Home. Adored dad of Carol (Horan), loving granddad to Ian, Jeff, Conor and great-granddad to baby Rosie. Husband of the late Rita. Sadly missed by his daughter, grandsons, son-in-law John, devoted niece Martina, loyal friend Tony Hayes, sisters-in–law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will take place on (Tuesday), April 5, in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount at 11.30 am, followed by committal at 1.30 pm in Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin, D6W HY98.
CARPENTER - Brian (Sandymount) - On Brian's First Anniversary today, his daughter Carol and family would like to express their appreciation and thanks to everyone who supported us during our sad loss. We were so very very touched by the many kind messages, condolances, tweets, and cards received. Thank you to Railway Union Men's Hockey 1sts for their pre-match minutes silence and to those who travelled to be with us. Dad's passing left a huge gap in our lives but we are consoled by the fact that he lived a long, happy and fulfilled life. Today we will be burying his ashes in accordance with his wishes.
