BATES Luke Peter (Greystones, Co. Wicklow and Tortola, British Virgin Islands) age 2 years and 10 months - June 6, 2010, tragically; cherished and adored son of Alan and Elaine, much loved brother of Chloe and Liam and loving grandson of Bridget (O'Brien) and William (Noel) (Bates): he will be sadly missed by his loving Dad, Mum, sister, brother, grandparents, godparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, relatives and friends. Requiem Mass today (Saturday) at 11 o'clock at The Church of the Holy Rosary, Greystones, funeral immediately afterwards to Redford Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Temple Street Hospital.'Suffer little children to come onto me'

<p>Thinking of you still........</p> <p>Hi Alan and Elaine, I never met you but I attended the Church service for your precious Luke in Tortola. I have been carrying around the beautiful photo of him and the poem by Edgar Guest that you shared. I'm living in the Cayman Islands now after spending 20 years in Tortola. I hope you have found some comfort and strength from all the folks that have been sending you prayers and well wishes all these years.
