KEARNS, Raymond (Ray) (Dartry, Dublin 6, formerly of Ballaghaderreen Co. Roscommon) - 1st April 2022 (peacefully), surrounded by his loving family. A beloved husband, adored father, brother and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Bríd (née Finn), children Raymond, Edward, Andrew, Peter and Una, daughters-in-law Mary and Ann Marie, and son-in-law Matthew and his loving grandchildren Grace, Genevieve, Andrew, Jessica, Catherine, Amelia, Rose, Alice and Martha. Predeceased by his daughter-in-law Emma, and his siblings, Joe, John, Gabriel, Monica, Clare, Ursula and Anne. Also sadly missed by his sister Amelia, sister-in-law Una, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook arriving on Wednesday 6th April for 11am Requiem Mass. a great maths teacher and a great person. He set me on the road to Engineering and I've never looked back. He gave me that rarest of commodities- self confidence. Rest in peace Ray. I know you'll be explaining the principles of calculus to whover will listen wherever you are.
