SMITH Maud, (Dublin and Cavan), February 19, 2019. On this the First Anniversary of Maud's death, we her family would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us at the time of our sad loss. Many thanks to all our extended family, neighbours and friends in Drumcondra and Lavey, who travelled and attended in great numbers to the reposal, the removal and funeral services in Iona Road and Lower Lavey Churches. To those who sent Mass cards, flowers, letters, messages of sympathy, texts and emails we are eternally grateful. Many thanks to all those who cared for Maud over the last few years; her carers, at home and in St. Monica's and the staff in the Mater Hospital, particularly the Palliative Care Team. To Fr. Paddy Jones and the Parish Team in Iona Road., Fr. Pat O'Donoghue, The Redemptoristine Community at St. Alphonsus' Monastery, Fr. Andrew Tully in Lower Lavey, her nephew Fr. Johnnie Cusack, Mr. Declan Finnegan, Lakelands Funeral Home, Cavan, An Garda Síochána Traffic Corps, our heartfelt appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions.
