McGING John, (Wood Dale Close, Dublin 24 and Rowanville, Kildare) (May 1, 2016) - On the occasion of his First Anniversary, Kevin, Ann, Joan and Kitty McGing, immediate family of the late John McGing would like to offer their sincere thanks to the many people who showed great kindness and support during John's illness, during his final days and at his funeral. We thank Fr. Ben Moran OP, Fr. Michael Sheedy, the Carmelite Friars Kildare, and Philip Scott for the beautiful and dignified service for John. We especially thank Fr. Ben for his support and gentle guidance during this time. For their efficient and sensitive approach to every request, we are so grateful to Des McWey Funeral Directors. We thank the medical team at Beaumont Hospital for their compassionate care of John and their dedication to finding a cure for Motor Neuron Disease. We are greatly appreciative of the support and consideration of John's many colleagues and friends in An Garda Síochána throughout his illness, and their immense assistance at his funeral. To John's wonderful neighbours in Wood Dale; we are so grateful for the enormous support and friendship given to him over the years. Finally, thank you to all John's relatives and friends who attended his repose and funeral, sent cards, letters and messages offering assistance and words of empathy to us and tributes to John. We appreciate so much the comforting words and gestures. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions.
