O'BRIEN (née Collins) Mildred (Newry, Co. Down, Dun Laoghaire and Monkstown, Co. Dublin) - Died December 10, 2013 - On Mildred's First Anniversary, her daughters Susan and Judith and grand daughters Alice, Georgina and Amelia would like to sincerely thank their friends for their kindness and support over the last twelve months. We were so moved by all of Mildred's dear friends some of whom travelled long distances to say their final farewell. We thank everyone for their cards, letters, phone calls and visits and for attending the beautiful funeral Mass which was a celebration of Mildred's life. We are so grateful to Dr Penny Blakely and the doctors and nurses of Blackrock Clinic and the Beacon Dialysis Unit who looked after Mildred so well over many years enabling her to live the fullest of lives. Our special thanks to Sr Bernadette and her wonderful staff at Our Lady's Manor, Dalkey and finally to Fr Michael Collins and Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown for their help, attentiveness and guidance.
