Our condolences are being sent from Pennsylvania USA. Fr. Joseph was a part of my childhood and an important part of my family (Costello). My father and mother (Martin and June) were close to him. I was blessed to visit with him about two years ago while vacationing in your beautiful Ireland. I am saddened by his passing but the idea of his freedom of his physical struggles and joined with his father in heaven, lessen the grief. I will pray for you all. God bless.

Thank you Fr Joe for the love of Christ which you gave me in a time when there was only pain. You walked with me through my pain and gave me life of faith, and service to others through your example, faith and unwavering kindness. May you rest in the arms of Christ as his faithful servent.
