Peter and I were born just days apart in Knockrath in 1957, just a stone's throw up Church Lane from St. Patrick's. When I last saw Peter and Nora in September 2023, we replayed his running gag that he and I might have been mixed up as babies in the nursing home. Tragically, the illness that struck Peter in summer of 2024 was no laughing matter. My respects to Peter's memory, and condolences to Nora, David, Johnnie and all in Peter's wider family.
