PLAISTED (née Dowling) Collette (Howth), peacefully at the Mater Private Hospital, Dublin; Friday, March 10, 2017 after a courageous battle with illness, fought with immense dignity. Dearly beloved wife of the late Paul and devoted mother to Samantha and Jonathan. Very sadly missed by her sisters Gwen, Sandra and Marie, brother Frank, son-in-law David, daughter-in-law Michelle, sisters-in-law Pamela, Katherine, Margaret and Helen, brothers-in-law Michael, Ryan and Brian, all her nieces, nephews and friends. Heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all the staff at the hospital involved in caring for her with exceptional kindness and compassion. Collette will be reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Monday evening from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock with family in attendance. Removal to St. Gabriel's Church, Dollymount on Tuesday morning arriving at 9.50 o'clock for 10 o'clock Mass followed by Cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium. House Private. Family flowers only.
