McGOWAN - (née McEvilly), Gertie (Rathgar, Dublin and late of Clonmel, Co. Tipperary) - June 8, 2026. Peacefully. Beloved wife of the late Padraig and much-loved mother of Siobhán, Gráinne, and Deirdre. Very sadly missed by her loving daughters, sons-in-law Mick and Barry, grandchildren Aisling, Oscar, Lara, and Eoghan, sisters Rosie and Winnie, relatives, wonderful neighbours, and many dear friends. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Thursday evening (June 11) from 6pm to 8pm. Removal on Friday morning (June 12) to the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery. Gerties family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all those who cared for her so wonderfully in her final illness.
