PURCELL - Noel, Upper Newcastle Galway, Retired BOI Manager, Urlingofrd and Clifden. On this the First anniversary of Noel’s passing (October 2, 2022) we, Noel’s wife Betty and daughter Elizabeth would like to thank everyone who supported and comforted us at the time of Noel’s death and continue to do so. Your friendship has helped us greatly. To our family members and neighbours, Bushy Park Choir and former Bank colleagues, those who travelled, attended Mass in person and online, wrote comforting words, donated to the Heart Foundation and had Masses offered for Noel. To Father Frank Larkin who was wonderful, to the volunteers in the St. James’/St. Joseph’s Parish for preparing the Church, to Father Tom Mangan who officiated at the graveside at Mt. St. Lawrence cemetery, Limerick. To Willie and all the staff of O'Flaherty Funeral Directors for the sensitive way they organised the funeral in Galway and in Limerick. Special gratitude to the Doctors and Nurses especially the nursing staff in the Coronary Care Unit at U.H.G. for their professionalism and kindness. We sincerely thank you all. A Mass will be offered for your intentions.
