WHELAN Hughie (Shankill, Blackrock, Stillorgan) November 3, 2012. (First Anniversary) Hughies wife Patsy, daughters Rebecca and Denise, sons-in-law Dave and Sean, grandchildren Róisín, Conor, Adam and extended family would like to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them, who called to the house, phoned, texted, emailed, attended the Removal, Mass and Funeral, sent Mass Cards, letters and messages of sympathy, made donations to The Heartbeat Trust, and who travelled long distances to be with us. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Columcille's Hospital A & E unit, St. Vincent's Hospital Cardiac Care Unit, and St. Micheal's Hospital Heart Failure Unit, for their care and support, and all who cared for him these past few years. Thanks also to Fr. John O'Connor SAC PP, the Bethany group readers, and the organist John Brady and soprano Kay Lynch who filled the church with beautiful music. We also thank Colliers for their care and professionalism. The support and kindness of friends and neighbours this year has meant an awful lot to us. We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deep appreciation and gratitude to all. Hughies First Anniversary Mass will take place on Sunday, November 3, in St. Anne's Church, Shankill at 6.00pm."Those whom we love and
lose are no longer
where they were before,
They are now wherever we are"
(St. John Chrysostom 500A.D.)
