McDERMOTT Úna (late of the Corner Bar, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan) (Died March 1, 2008) - Úna's sons, daughters and brothers deeply appreciated the support and sympathy of relatives, neighbours and friends on our sad and painful loss. Our thanks to all of you who called to our home, telephoned, sent Mass Cards, letters, sympathy cards and floral tributes. We were greatly comforted by the huge numbers who attended at McMahon's Funeral Home, the removal and funeral Mass and in particular those who travelled long distances. Our thanks to those dear friends who greatly assisted with the catering over those difficult days. A special word of thanks to Fr. Peter Casey for being a great source of spiritual comfort and for his sensitive and moving celebration of Úna's life at her Mass. Thanks also to Fr. Coffey, Corcaghan for concelebrating her funeral Mass and to Fr. McPartlin who assisted at her removal. Thanks also to Lyla, Aoife and Regina for their uplifting music, to St. Colmcilles C.S.C for the guard of honour and to An Garda Síochína. Our grateful thanks to the ambulance crew and staff at the A&E Department, Cavan General Hospital for caring for Mammy in her final moments and to Philip McMahon, Funeral Director, for his professionalism. Mass will be offered for all in gratitude and appreciation at 9 a.m. on May 21, 2008 in St. Phelim's Church, Ballinagh.Go Dtuga Dia Suaimhneas Síoraí Di.
