MACKEN, Cecil (Ballinteer and late of Barton Road East) - Sunday 7th February 2021, peacefully, after a short illness, in the loving care of the staff in Burkitt Ward at Tallaght University Hospital. Loving husband of the late Jean, adored father of Patricia and Sylvia, father-in-law of Brian and Trevor and beloved grandad of Luke, Adam, Megan and Hugo. Sorely missed by his brothers, sister, close family friends and extended family. Due to current restrictions a private funeral will take place. Those who would have liked to attend but cannot may view the Funeral Service on Thursday morning at 10.45 am (link in tomorrow (Wednesday’s) edition of The Irish Times). Cecil’s funeral cortège will pass his former home on Barton Road East at approximately 11.40 am on Thursday.
