O'RIORDAN, Eddie (Balally, Dublin and formerly of Charleville, Co. Cork) - 17th January 2024, peacefully, after a full and happy life, surrounded by his family, in the dedicated care of the staff of St Vincent's Private Hospital, Dublin. Beloved brother of Helen, Frances, Diane and the late Dave. Eddie will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his sisters, sister-in-law Eithne, brothers-in-law Dan and Michael, nieces and nephews David, Cliodhna, Lisa, Eavan, Karen and Emer, and their spouses, grandnieces Isabelle, Rose, Freya, Phillipa and Sophie and his grandnephew John, relatives and his many friends in Ireland and Spain. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Thursday evening (18th January) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday morning (19th January) to the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am (which can be viewed live at www.balallyparish.ie/live) followed by cremation at Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross. O'RIORDAN - Eddie (Balally, Dundrum, Dublin and formerly of Charleville, Co. Cork). As we lovingly remember Eddie on the First Anniversary of his death (January 17, 2024) his sisters Sr. Helen, Frances and Diane, nephew David, nieces Cliodhna, Lisa, Eavan, Karen and Emer and Eddie's in-laws Eithne, Dan and Michael would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised and supported us in our great loss and sadness. We wish to express our sincere appreciation to all those who attended the Funeral Home and Mass for Eddie, his friends and neighbours including those from UCC, DFEI, Spain and walking companions. We also thank those who sent Mass cards and letters of condolences. A special thanks to Fr. Jim McCaffrey, Balally for all his help and for making the Funeral Mass so special. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
