TULLY John (Marbrook, Ballindrimley, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon) June 17, 2018 - On the First Anniversary of John's death his wife Maura, his children Vincent, Ross, Nial and Sheena, daughters-in-law and son-in-law, grandchildren, along with his sisters Mary, Leonie and Hillary, brother Paul, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised following the heart breaking sudden loss of John. Sincere thanks to those who promptly attended and offered kind and professional care including Dr. Caithriona Fahy, Retheesh Thankappan (Fearna Manor Nursing Home) and the ambulance personnel. Thanks also to Paul and Gaynors Funeral Directors for their sensitive and professional support, coordinating all aspects with care and attention to detail from the funeral arrangements, road traffic management and grave diggers. A special thanks to Rev. Tinsell Perera and Very Rev. John McManus for your comfort and support. Most importantly we appreciate the sympathies offered by our friends, neighbours, staff, those who travelled, corresponded and who came to our home to raise a glass and share memories of a life well lived. Sincere thanks to the special ladies who catered for so many people at our most difficult time. We were also humbled and comforted by the several guards of honour and grateful to all who made donations to Mayo/Roscommon Hospice in John's name. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this heartfelt acknowledgement of our sincere gratitude and appreciation. Like John himself, your sympathies will not be forgotten. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions. John's First Anniversary Mass will be on Sunday, June 16 at 12.00 noon, at St Patrick's Church, Castlerea."A good character
is the best tombstone,
Those who loved you and
were helped by you
will remember you when
forget me nots have withered.
Carve your name on hearts
not on marble".
