MacLOUGHLIN, Frank (Kilmacud and formerly of Riverstown, Co. Sligo and U.C.D Chemical Engineering Department) - 9th April 2023 (peacefully) surrounded by Ann and his loving family, in the wonderful care of Blackrock Hospice. Very sadly missed by his partner and best friend Ann, brother Michael, sisters Evelyn, Bernie and Ursula, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased and greatly loved by his sister Maura and brother Malachy. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Friday) morning at 10am in the Church of St. Laurence O’Toole, Kilmacud, followed by burial at St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Blackrock Hospice.

On the first anniversary of Frank’s death (April 9 2023), Frank’s partner Ann and the extended MacLoughlin family would like to thank most sincerely those who sympathised with them, those who attended the funeral and those who sent cards, letters and online messages. A special word of thanks to Frank’s colleagues and past students from UCD who shared wonderful stories about him.
