WEEKES, Mildred Valerie (neé Kerrison), Bennettsbridge, Co. Kilkenny, (formerly of Dublin) - November 22, 2018, (peacefully), at home surrounded by family, following a short illness. Beloved wife for 54 years, of the late Very Revd. Cecil Weekes. Devoted mother of Susan, Avril, Lynda and Karen. Loving grandmother to Lynsey, Robbie, Gillian, Lauren and Roslyn. Funeral Service on Sunday (November 25) at 1 pm in St. Canice’s Cathedral, Kilkenny. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard. Special thanks to the excellent staff at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny and the exceptional Palliative Homecare Team. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society Night Nurse Service.
