SWEENEY, (Judy) (formerly O'Grady) (née Mullins) Tinahely, October 26, 2009. Peacefully after a courageous battle with illness; beloved wife of Peter and loving mother of Jonathan, Amber and Lucy, step-children Denis, Anna and Jane; deeply missed by her family, sisters Anne (Magee), Di (Murphy), brother Peter, sons-in-law Robert and Jed, grandchildren Jasper, Freddie and Ned, niece and nephew and a wide circle of family and friends, her horses and her dog Carrie. Heartfelt thanks and praise to the wonderful staff at the Beacon Hospital. A service in memory of Judy will be held in All Saints (Church of Ireland) Carnew, Co. Wicklow, at 2 o'clock on Saturday (October 31, 2009). Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society. House private.
