MAVERLEY, Richard A. (Tony), (Howth) February 22, 2018, (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff of Beaumont Hospital, after an illness borne with immense courage and dignity. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Margaret (Menton). Adored and cherished father of Kenneth and Jennifer. Very deeply regretted by his wife, son, daughter, treasured granddaughters Emily, Katie, Elena and Tori, loving daughter-in-law Maria, sisters-in-law Peg and Anne Marie, brother-in-law Brian, nieces Bernadette and Sharon, nephew Jonathan, relatives and many friends. Reposing tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon in Stafford's Funeral Home, Strand Road, Portmarnock from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday (February 26) at 11.00 in The Church of the Assumption, Howth followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired to the Oncology Department of Beaumont Hospital and the Home Care Team of St. Francis Hospice, Raheny. House Strictly Private. Rest in Peace
MAVERLEY Richard A (Tony) February 22, 2018. On Tony's First Anniversary, his wife Margaret,son Kenneth, and daughter Jennifer, wish to thank all those who sympathised with them on their great loss, those who sent Mass cards, letters, messages of sympathy and made donations to Beaumont Hospital and St. Francis Hospice, Raheny. Thank you to all who attended Tony's repose and funeral and who travelled long distances to be with us. Sincere thanks to Prof. Oscar Breathnach and the doctors, nurses and staff of Beaumont Hospital. To the Hospice Home Care Team and all who cared for Tony at home. Thank you to Fr. Silvester O'Flynn OFM Cap. for the beautiful celebration of Tony's life and to Fr. Gerry Tanham P.P., Howth, for his support and prayers at the Repose. Finally, a special word of thanks to our family, friends, neighbours and all who continue to care for us with gentle kindness. Tony was a loving and cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend. May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.
