HANNIFFY - Olive (Ollie), (Ballinderry Nursing Home, Kilconnell and formerly of St. Kieran’s, Creagh, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway) – March 20, 2024; in her 92nd year, peacefully in the presence of her family and life-long friend, Kathleen Quinn and in the loving care of the staff of Ballinderry Nursing Home. Predeceased by her parents, John and Mary, brothers and sisters; Sean, Maureen (Sr. Kieran), Fr. Mannix S.D.B, Fr. Brendan S.M.A., Nancy (Copinger), Dr. Ignatius (Iggy), Lily (Dillon), Dr. Liam, Dr. Patricia (Patty) and Amelia (Faulkner). Deeply regretted by her sisters-in-law Ann Hanniffy (Dunne), Portlaoise, Ethna Haniffy (Page), USA, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, a wide circle of friends and the past pupils and former colleagues of the Convent of Mercy, Ballinasloe. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Rest In Peace. Reposing in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15) on today (Friday), March 22, from 5.30pm, with removal at 7pm to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Creagh (H53 EH93). Ollie's Requiem Mass will take place on tomorrow (Saturday), March 23, at 1.30pm, followed by burial in Creagh Cemetery.
