MURPHY Maigread (née Higgins), (Wellington Road, Cork) - February 18, 2014, (peacefully) at the Bon Secours Hospital after a short illness. Wife of the late Seamus Murphy, Sculptor, daughter of the late Joseph Higgins, Sculptor. Deeply regretted by her family, Bebhinn, Orla and Colm, her sister Ita (Sr. St. Canice), Nora Dalton, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, colleagues, relatives and friends. Funeral service at The Island Crematorium, Rock Island, Ringaskiddy tomorrow, Thursday at 1.30pm. House private.
