THORNTON, (née Logan) Eva, (Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin) October 3, 2018. Peacefully, at home, after a long illness. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Lewis, much loved mother of Alan and Shirley, adored and cherished Granny to Sean, Lewis, Conor and Donncha. Deeply missed and loved by her children, daughter-in-law Siobhan, grandsons, extended family and friends. Funeral Service on Monday (October 8) at 11am in Monkstown Parish Church, followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to Monkstown Parish Restoration fund, C/O Carnegies Funeral Directors, Monkstown. "She fought the good fight"
