MORAHAN, Rev. Fr. Leo, (An tAthair León Ó Morcháin,, An Phríomh Shtáid, Cluain Cearbán, go suaimhneach sa bhaile ina theachcónaithe, Socraithe sochraide le cinntiú), (Retired Parish Priest of Barna, Co. Galway), (peacefully), at his home, The Beeches, Louisburgh, surrounded by his family on Christmas Day. Son of the late Bridget (née Ball) and Seán T., predeceased by his sisters Clem Lyons and Dr. Evangeline Smiddy, brothers Fr. Al, Jack, Oliver P., Jarlath, Basil, and Willie. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his sister Gaelie McManamin (Tralee), brother Justin (Dublin), sisters-in-law, Catherine, Mary, Beryl, Anne, and Margaret, nephews, nieces, grandnephews and nieces, great-grandnephews and nieces, the Kenny Family, cousins, brother priests, and a large circle of friends. Requiescat In Pace. Fr. Leo will lie in repose at The Morahan Family Home at Main St., Louisburgh on today (Tuesday) from 2pm with removal at 7pm, walking to St. Patrick's Church. Concelebrated Requiem Mass of Christian burial tomorrow (Wednesday) at 1pm, followed by Prayers of Committal at Kilgeever Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Louisburgh Order of Malta care of Sweeney Funeral Directors.
