O'DEA, Paddy, November 5, 2017, Sandymount (formerly of Wellpark Avenue, Drumcondra; Ferrier Pollock & Co, South William Street, Dublin; EBS Building Society and a lifelong member of Hermitage Golf Club) - (peacefully), in his 94th year, surrounded by his loving family, in Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross. Predeceased by his loving wife Patricia (Pat), brothers Thomas, Billy, Frank, Brendan and Michael. Will be deeply missed by his children Paul, John, Padraig, Marian and Joseph, sisters Sr. Mary of Mercy and Sr. Lelia, grandchildren Darren (and his wife Melissa), Fiachra, Katie, Hannah, Ella, Sean, Jack, Maria, Sarah, Ross, Thomas and Lauren, and great-granddaughter Lucia, daughters-in-law Ann, Eileen, Susan and Clare, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours. Reposing from 5pm to 7pm this (Monday) evening at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Road (opposite UCD Flyover). Requiem Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) morning at 10am in the Church of St Mary's, Star of the Sea, Sandymount, followed by burial in Dean's Grange Cemetery. Sincere thanks to staff in St. Vincent's Hospital, Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross and Community Health for devoted care and attention. Family flowers only, please. He also had a deep love of Birr, Co. Offaly. Died November 5, 2017 to be finally reunited with his wife Pat. Deeply missed by his children Paul, John, Padraig, Marian and Joseph, sisters Sr. Mary of Mercy and Sr. Lelia, grandchildren, great grand-daughter and daughters-in-law. As we approach the first anniversary of Paddy's death, we would like to acknowledge and express our sincere thanks for the sympathy and support we received from our extended family, friends and colleagues during his illness and at the time of his death. We would also like to especially thank his kind neighbours who watched out for him over the years. Thank you to everyone who attended the repose, funeral service or who otherwise offered their condolences and support. Sincere thanks to Fr.
