GORMLEY, Micheál (Cabinteely, Dublin 18, formerly of Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan and late of PMPA Insurance) January 26, 2018. Unexpectedly, at St. James’ Hospital, Dublin. Dearly beloved husband of Anne, devoted Dad to Orla and Megan; brother of the late Mary and son of the late Frank and Betty. Sadly missed by his sister, brothers, mother-in-law Detta sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, neighbours and colleagues. May he rest in peace. Funeral Mass this (Monday) morning at 11am in the Church of the Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock with Burial afterwards in Shanganagh Cemetery. “The world will be a lesser place without his music”

GORMLEY Micheál On the First Anniversary of his sudden death, Anne, Orla and Megan would like to acknowledge the emotional and practical support extended to us throughout our deep grief this year. We would like to thank the ambulance crew in Loughlinstown, staff in CCU in St. James' Hospital, priests in the parishes of Foxrock and Cabinteely, especially Fr. Tom who celebrated the funeral Mass, Fr. Paddy Staunton and the Cabinteely Gospel group of which Micheál was a member. His former colleagues in AXA and colleagues and students in Clonkeen College who attended the wake and funeral in January. The work colleagues of Orla in KPMG, the staff in IADT for their encouragement of Megan and Anne's many work colleagues for their continuing support. We greatly appreciate family members, friends and colleagues who took the time to visit the house, send letters or cards, telephone during this year. A particular thanks to our wide circle of loyal and devoted friends who have helped us in so many ways during the year, always managing to brighten up a dull day. A sincere thanks to everyone, your contribution has made our loss more bearable. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. Micheál's Anniversary Mass will be celebrated tomorrow (Sunday) at 12.30pm in St. Brigid's Church, Cabinteely.
