AHERNE, Brendan, (Rathfarnham, Dublin, and Mallow, Co. Cork), October 17, 2024, peacefully in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret (née McGowan) and his brother Michael. Very sadly missed by Catherine, brothers Seamus and Redmond, his sister Maura, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, cousins and all his extended family, neighbours and his many friends. Funeral Mass today (Monday October 21) at 10am in the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham, D14 E803, followed by burial in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery, Mallow, P51 KP11, arriving at approximately 3/3.30pm.
