COWLEY, Michael January 12. 2023 peacefully at Cornfield Care Centre, beloved husband of Pat, (Heathfield, Culmore Road, Derry), loving father of John, father-in-law of Maeve, much loved grandfather of Eoghan and Cecilia, dear brother of Clare, Vincent, Rosemary, Eugene, Kevin, Martin, and the late Seán and a cherished uncle. House private please. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, Co Derry, BT48 7EX, today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday) from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Eugene’s Cathedral on Monday at 12.30 pm. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery. The Mass can be viewed live via the church webcam. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to the Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 8JE. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
