GILBERT, Daphne Jane

GILBERT - (née Mansergh) Professor Daphne Jane (Beverley, UK and late of Howth, Co. Dublin) - March 12, 2024 at Claremont House Care Home, Beverley, aged 80 years after a long illness. Formerly Head of Department of Pure and Applied Mathematics at Dublin Institute of Technology, beloved wife of the late Paul, and much-loved mother of Ben, Hester, Matthew and Emily and in-laws Christine, Adel, Carrie and John. A dearly loved sister of Philip, Martin, Nicholas and Jane and grandma of Elisabeth, James, Tom, Eleanor, Eliza, Isobel, William, Isaac and Seth. Funeral service to be held at Beverley Minster on Wednesday 27th March at 11.30am, followed by interment at Queensgate Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations much appreciated for Dove House.
