QUIGLEY - Donal (Gaeltacht Park, Whitehall), (March 12, 2022). On Donal’s First Anniversary, his wife Bernadette, along with Alma, Máire-Áine, Caoimhín and all the family would like to express our appreciation to all of those who supported us at that time and since. We were touched by the many kind messages, cards and other expressions of sympathy we received. We would like to give our renewed thanks to the teams in the Mater Hospital whose compassion meant so much to us, to Fr. Pat O’Donoghue for celebrating his funeral Mass, and to Fr. Damien McNeice and Fr. Richard O’Dwyer SJ. Finally, our thanks to all our neighbours and friends who attended Donal’s funeral, particularly his friends from Revenue, the Department of Defence, and the Island Golf Club, as well as the Taoiseach’s ADC, Commandant Claire Mortimer. Ár míle buíochas libh go léir. Donal will be remembered at 10.30am Mass tomorrow (Sunday) at the Church of the Holy Child, Whitehall.

To Bernadette and Family - recalling Donal, a good friend, from our schooldays in St. Canice’s and O’Connell School and beyond. We met occasionally and caught up on things, not least when he moved to Gaeltacht Park, where I grew up. Donal will be remembered.
