PIGGOTT, Catherine (Newcastle, Galway and Avenue House, Gort) - 19 November, 2023 (suddenly) at home. Predeceased by her parents Pearse and Brigid and brother baby Neil. Deeply loved by her heartbroken siblings Elaine, Raymond, Pearse, Gabriel and Guaire, brother-in-law Ralph and sisters-in-law Máire, Noelle, Katrina and Sinéad. Sadly missed also by her aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and her dear friends. Adored by her godchildren Ruth-Anne, Simon and Culann. Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8), Galway on Thursday, 23 November from 4.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Catherine at 12 noon on Friday, 24 November at St. Colman’s Church, Gort. The family will be in attendance at the Church from 11 a.m. if you would like to sympathise with them before Mass at 12 noon. Following Mass she will be laid to rest in Labane Cemetery. 'May her beautiful soul rest in peace'
