DILLON, Josephine (née Butler), (Templeogue), April 3, 2020, suddenly and peacefully at Tallaght University Hospital, to the inexpressible grief of her husband Jimmy, daughters Miriam and Jillian and son John; sons in law Donal and the late Billy and daughter in law Julie; her 5 cherished grandsons Stephen, Ronan, David, Conor and Mark, and Christian and Oliver; their wives and partners Sharon, Amy, Carla and Catherine; her 4 adored great grandchildren Emelie, Myla, Will and baby Camille; her brothers in law, sisters in law; her nieces and nephews, especially Jude, Desmond and Gary; her close neighbours, her amazing lifelong friends and all the fabulous ones she had on the way. We are so comforted by all the lovely messages we have received. Josie really touched the lives of so many people in her beautiful way. She said she was very lucky in life; no matter what happened, she always met lovely people. Particular thanks go to Prof. Enright and each and every one of the wonderful Haematology staff in Tallaght for giving Josie extra precious time with us. In accordance with Government advice, a private burial will be held but this is not the send-off we would wish for Josie. We will be celebrating Josie’s well lived, long and happy life at a later date. Donations, if desired, can be sent to the Haematology Day Ward Fund, Tallaght University Hospital. Our lovely wife, mum, grandmum and great grandmum We were her world. She was ours.
