DARCY, Michael Noel. Aged 92. Cabinteely, formerly Foxrock, Co. Dublin and originally Maganey, Kildare, on Monday February 24th, 2025. Peacefully in the gentle care of the staff of the Blackrock Hospice and surrounded by his family. Dearly loved husband for over 57 years of the late Peggy, devoted to and cherished by his six children, David, Marie Louise, Michael, John, Nicola and Alison and their spouses, Yazmine, Martin, Audrey, John’s partner Sarah, Rob and Mark. A much loved and greatly admired “Papa Mick” to his 12 grandchildren, Catriona, Ian, Michael, Darcy, Dylan, Chloe, Lizzy, Vincent, Eoin, Fiadh and Naomi and Ronan and their mother Eleanor. Dear brother of Elizabeth (Daisy), Gerry and Maura, and of his deceased brothers Patrick and John. Dear brother-in-law of Michael D’Arcy (deceased), Emily Power, Nora Barron, Jim D’Arcy and Frank D’Arcy. He derived such pleasure from his children, grandchildren, extended family and his many friends from his business, charitable, cultural and sporting interests.
