McLOUGHLIN Paddy, (Rathconnell, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, died July 6th, 2012) - Paddy's wife Cora, children Fidelma, Killian and Fergal, granddaughter Keelin, son-in-law Dan and daughter-in-law Mairead would like to thank most sincerely all our family, friends and neighbours who sympathised and supported us and continue to do so, on our great loss. All those who called to our home where Paddy was reposing especially Most Rev. Dr. Michael Smith and Very Rev. Fr. Padraig McMahon, Adm. To all those who attended his funeral and travelled long distances to do so. To all who sent Mass Cards, letters of condolences, floral tributes and made donations to the Alzheimers Society. Special thanks to Fr. McMahon for his very eloquent and prayerful Mass and prayers at the graveside and for his kindness to us. To the HSE staff in Mullingar especially Cathy and Sheila, the staff in Ballinderry Hospital where Paddy went for respite and Dr. Billy Waldron and Dr. Eoin Ruane. To all the staff in "Glencar" in Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford including Dr. Kevin Flanagan who cared for Paddy with such love and tenderness. To Paddy's friends and colleagues in Eircom for their very moving guard of honour. To the Garda Siochana for the escort to Ballyglass Cemetery. To Shaws Funeral Directors who were so professional and helpful. To the Grave Diggers for their much appreciated sensitivity. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
