WHELAN, Donough (Drumcondra) - January 9, 2015 (peacefully), at Beaumont Hospital, after a long illness borne with great courage and dignity, in the loving arms of his devoted wife Eve, and surrounded by his heartbroken family. Deeply missed by Eve, his parents Bill and Peggie, his brothers Eamonn and Cormac, nieces, nephews, godchildren, brothers-in-Law, sisters-in-Law, parents-in-Law and all his extended family and loyal friends. Removal today (Tuesday), from Lanigan's Funeral Home, Beaumont Road, to Corpus Christi Church, Home Farm Road, arriving at 6 o'clock Funeral tomorrow (Wednesday) after 10 o'clock, Mass to Glasnevin Cemetery. Family flowers only please, Donations if desired to The friends of St. Luke's."May he rest in peace"
