CREAN, Maurice, BDS.D. Orth, FDS (Salthill, Galway and formerly of Bray, Co. Wicklow) 11 May 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his family in the care of the wonderful staff at Galway Hospice. Deeply mourned and forever missed by his wife Rosaleen, his children, Deirdre, Morgan, Deirbhile, Brian, Alex, Marina and Paul, stepdaughters Clair and Laura, grandchildren, Layla, Alanna, Chloe, Charlotte, Daniel, Ollie, Sadie, Harper, Willow, Conan and Eanna, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law. Pre-deceased by his brother Brendan. Maurice will be sadly missed also by his brothers Paul, Ernest and Peter, sisters Ann and Jean, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, neighbours and many friends. Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) this (Tuesday, 13 May) from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Arriving at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill tomorrow (Wednesday, 14 May) for Requiem Mass therein at 11 a.m. Private Cremation to follow on Thursday. Memorial donations, if desired, to Irish Lung Fibrosis Association, (www.ilfa.ie) And did you get what you wanted from life, even so? I did. And what did you want?
