WALSH, John (Blackrock, Co. Dublin, formerly of IAWS and former Captain of the Dun Laoghaire Golf Club) October 3, 2018. Peacefully, in the loving care of family and staff at Blackrock Hospice. Dearly beloved husband of Joan and devoted father of Elaine, Sandra, Irene and John. Sadly missed by his children, sons-in-law and partners, grandchildren and their families, great-grandchildren, sisters Ethyl and Anne, brother-in-law John, niece and nephew, along with a very large circle of dear friends. Rest in peace. Funeral Mass this (Friday) morning at 10am in the Church of the Guardian Angels, Newtownpark Ave, followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. House private. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired to Blackrock Hospice and Cancer Research. “ Death is nothing at all; I have only slipped away into the next room”
