CAMON Seán., (Waterford) Retired Chief Superintendent, NBCI, An Garda Síochana (died August 1, 2010). On the First Anniversary of Sean's death, his wife, family and extended family wish to acknowledge and thank those who sympathised with them on the sad and sudden death of a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, colleague and friend. Thank you to the staff of Thompsons Funeral Home, Waterford for their professionalism and sensitivity. We would like to thank all who attended the house, rosary, removal, funeral Mass and burial. Many thanks also to those who travelled great distances to be with us, those who sent Mass cards, flowers and letters of sympathy and those who helped us in many ways - friends and family for their love and support. Sincere thanks to Fr. Treacy (St Joseph and Benildus Church), the Garda Chaplain, Fr. Kennedy, as well as the sacristan musician and singer, family who read readings and brought offertory gifts, who all made Seán's funeral Mass so special. A very special acknowledgement to the members of An Garda Síochana, retired and serving (his other family), the Garda pallbearers and outriders who escorted Sean on his final journey. We know from Seán's colleagues and associates that Sean made a real difference and for that we will be forever proud. To all we wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation. " To live in hearts we leave behind
is not to die".
