DORGAN, James Joseph (Jim) KC*HS (Upper Carysfort Avenue, Blackrock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Cloyne, Co. Cork) March 30, 2022. Peacefully, after a short illness stoically borne in the loving care of the staff of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Predeceased by his loving wife Gretta (2018), brother Don and sister Joan. Cherished father of Stephen and Carl, and much loved grandfather to Aaron, Fionn, Lir, Alec and Hugh, father-in-law to Barbara and Fiona. He will be deeply missed by his sons, daughters-in-law, grandsons, brother Eamonn, sister-in-law Betty, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends in Cork, Dublin and beyond. May he rest in peace. Reposing this (Monday) evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, A94 XK28. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10.00am in the Church of the Guardian Angels, Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W.
