GROGAN - The family of the late Richard Grogan of Mount Merrion wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following the sad loss of Richard. We offer our heartfelt thanks to our very valued friends and wonderful neighbours who provided, and continue to provide, support. To those who telephoned, sent flowers, cards, messages of condolences and food, and attended Richard’s funeral and Quinn’s Funeral Home, we are truly grateful. Thank you too to the staff of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital and Professor John Crown for your sincere and professional care which we deeply appreciate. Thank you too to Fr. Brian O’Reilly. To Richard’s other family, his colleagues in Law, thank you for your friendship and camaraderie and those long telephone calls which he loved!

To Richard’s wonderful social media followers, thank you for taking the time to follow him and write lovely messages of support. A special word of thanks to Fr. Dick Quinn for travelling especially to be with us for Richard’s Funeral Mass.

For those who helped in any way, your thoughtfulness has made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

Requiescat in pace
