Beloved husband of Marie, father of Fiona, Susan, Barbara and Cathy, grandfather to Kit and Ella, brother of Noel, Freda, Terry and Eithne, brother-in-law to Frank, Clare and David, father-in-law to Fintan and John. On the First Anniversary of his death we would like to express our deepest gratitude to all who supported us in our sadness, those who called to our home, sent such lovingly drafted letters and cards of sympathy, flowers and Mass cards and attended Johnny's funeral. The wells of love expressed for Johnny were an immeasurable consolation to us at the saddest of times. We wish to thank Fr. Frank Herron for his kindness to the family and his celebration of the funeral Mass. We also wish to thank Fr. Alex Conlon, Dr. Clem McCrory, Prof Tim McDonnell and all of the staff at the ICU St. Vincent's Hospital who cared for Johnny and our family with such dedication. Johnny is sorely missed and remembered with love and profound gratitude for all the joys he brought to our lives.
BERGIN, John (Third Anniversary May 7). Johnny is deeply missed every day by his family and all who were lucky enough to experience his peerless wit, kindness, intelligence, ready laughter, good counsel and endless support.
