POLAND, Gerald Gabriel (former RUC Sergeant) (of “Mountview”, Boggin Hill, Ballon, Co. Carlow and formerly of Aughagallon, Co Armagh) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, March 18th 2024, at his home. Beloved husband of Jean, adored father of Paula, Canon Conor and the late baby Carmel and cherished Papa of Gabriel. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, grandson, Gabriel’s father Miceal, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, extended family and friends. Gabriel will repose at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Shamrock Square, Carlow, (Eircode R93 C8630) on (Thursday), March 21st, from 6pm, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening Funeral Mass will take place on (Friday), March 22nd, at 12 noon in St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Ballon, Co. Carlow and will be followed by a private cremation Service at Glasnevin Crematorium, Dublin. May Gabriel Rest in Peace
