HARRIS - George T.C. (Clane, Co Kildare) - On George's First Anniversary, we his family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathised with us, in so many different ways, at the time of his passing. A special thank you to family members and friends who stood outside the house in beautiful sunshine and joined in the farewell prayers, led by Rev Stephen Neill. We also extend our deep appreciation to the many neighbours, friends, farming groups, ploughing associations and the hospice support group, who lined the route from the house. Sincere thanks to Rev Suzanne Harris, who took a private and very personal service in the Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome. Our special thanks to all the medics and carers who helped us look after George in his latter years, and to Clarke’s Undertakers for their professional care. George has left us with treasured memories of a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He is sadly missed.
