CONNEELY - Sheila (née Hunt) (Blackrock, Co Dublin) - We lovingly remember our Mum today, her First Anniversary, and our Dad, Jack, on his Twenty-first Anniversary, on December 14. We, her children, Ruairi, Finola, Eamonn, Sinead and Deirdre, along with our families and the extended Hunt family, wish to express our sincerest gratitude to the many people who sent cards, letters and left messages of condolence. Thank you to all our friends, family and neighbours who joined the Mass online, gathered outside Blackrock Parish church, and also on Proby Square, where the hearse made a brief stop. We are grateful to Fr Peter O'Connor PP, St John The Baptist Church, Blackrock and to Carnegies Funeral Directors for their sensitivity and compassion with Mum and our family over those difficult days last year, during the strictest of Covid restrictions. Sincere thanks to Dr. Frank Marmion and all the staff at Carysfort Clinic who treated Mum in the most caring of ways over many years. Thanks to her many friends, particularly those in Mount Merrion Active Retirement, with whom she had many memorable trips, and to her wonderful neighbours on Proby Sq. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude. We also remember Mum’s sister, Kitty O’Dowd, whose First Anniversary is on January 10, 2022. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered on Sunday, December 26, at 12.00pm in St John the Baptist Church Blackrock in Mum's memory, and in thanks for everyone’s kindness.
