DOHERTY John (Gerard) (Lisnakelly, Buncrana, Co. Donegal), much loved husband, father, teacher, hill walker and dear friend (formerly of Dublin and San Francisco), after an illness, borne with great dignity and courage, (peacefully) at home - February 24, 2010, surrounded by his loving wife Kate, daughter Sarah, sons Brian and Dermot, family and friends. Funeral Mass today (Tuesday), January 26, in St. Mary's Parish Church, Cockhill, Buncrana. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Oncology Unit, Letterkenny Hospital.
