O'SHAUGHNESSY, Kathleen (Kate) (née Ryan) (Foxrock and formerly Sandymount and Ballylusk, Co. Wexford) died peacefully 15th January 2024, in the company of her loving family after a long illness bravely borne while in the tender care of the doctors and nurses in the Cedar Ward at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband Charlie. Forever missed by her sons Leo and Ryan, daughter-in-law Siobhán, son-in-law Mark, her treasured grandchildren Ellie and Jack, brother Joe, sister Eilish, brother-in-law Dermot, sisters-in-law Mary and Ita, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and fellow members at Blackrock Bridge Club. Kate will repose at home today (Wednesday) from 2 pm to 7 pm. Funeral Mass will take place in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock at 12 noon on Thursday 18th. January, followed by burial in the Cemetery of the Church of St. Coleman, Ballindaggin, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, Y21 FH97, arriving at 3:30 pm. Family flowers only, please.
