McENTEE (Mitchelstown, Castletown, KP, Navan, Co. Meath) - December 21, 2012. Shane, TD and Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture and Food. Suddenly at his residence. Loving husband of Kathleen and devoted father of Aoife, Vincent, Helen and Sally. Loving grandfather of Eoin and Cian. Deeply missed by his wife and children, grandchildren, mother Madge, brothers, sister, mother-in-law, aunts, uncle, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, son-in-law, nephews, nieces, and a wide circle of lifelong friends, relatives and colleagues. May he Rest In Peace. Reposing at his home from 7 o'c this (Saturday) evening. Removal tomorrow (Sunday) to St. Patrick's Church, Castletown KP arriving at 7 o'clock Funeral Mass on Monday at 11 o'c followed by burial in Nobber Cemetery.

<p>Sincerest sympathies on the passing of a great human being!</p> Please accept my sincerest sympathy on the tragic death of Shane. He was a lovely, genuine and personable man, who always had a good cheery hello and time for you if required. I am sorry for the loss that you his wife, his children, mother and family have now to endure, he is also a huge loss to the community and Ireland too! I wish you all strength to mourn and heal!
